Today is the last day for fees to be paid. Teams who have not paid by this deadline will receive no team or personal points until all monies owing are paid to the league.

Hello all, I hope everyone had a safe and happy long weekend.
Update: due to an unforeseen problem, there is a schedule change and we will now be playing Monday Oct 14 and Monday Dec. 23. Captains please take note of this change. Randy will be posting the updated schedule.
Good day everyone Teams are up with your numbers. Schedule is up for first 9 weeks and boards assign. You will notice F means Frosty which everyone will be playing there once and that all.

DATES:
Regular season play stars Monday Sept.9
Playoffs will start Monday Feb.10
Final day will be Sat. April 5
Banquet Sat. May 3
2 Tournaments Sat. Nov. 23 and Sat.Feb 8
FORMAT:
Total of 20 teams.
Regular season-Two divisions of 10 teams, A and B. Teams will play everyone in their division twice.
Playoffs- Four divisions of 5 teams A,B,C,D. Teams will play everyone in their division twice.
Final day- Top 4 teams in each division advance.
Two locations: Bowmanville Legion and Frosty John’s.
Cost: $75 per member
Randy will be posting the schedule this week.
Captains: please check that your team list is up to date. If you didn’t forward him a list of players he automatically used last year.

Another year of darts is under wraps. Congratulations to all the winners of yesterday’s finals. It was a fun day and there were some excellent matches.
I’d like to thank my executive for all their hard work throughout the year: Anita Maclean-Mccoy , Darlene DeVouge and Randy Brocklehurst. Sometimes people forget that these are volunteer positions and that people are giving up their time and energy to make a fun league for us all. A little respect goes a long way.

Weekly Playoffs are now complete. Final Day will be this Saturday April 20. All players must be there by 10:45 am. Play will begin at 11am. Ladies Auxillary will provide food. Bar will be open at 10:30.
A reminder that all Banquet money and unused tickets are due on Saturday. There are still guest tickets available for those that need them.
Ballots for the election will be counted Saturday and the winner declared the same day.

A few updates:
1. Tonight is the last night of Playoffs for Divisions A and C. Division B will finish next Monday. All results will be posted next week for the final day April 20.
2. All ticket money (and unused tickets) for the banquet is due April 20 at the latest.
3. There will be an election tonight for the position of Vice President:
Darlene Devouge and Amanda Storks
Each team will be given enough ballots for each member of their team in attendance tonight. ( If you have members not playing tonight but they still wish to vote they will have to come to the Legion and a ballot will be issued to them.) Once the voting is complete, place your ballots in the envelope and seal it and it will be placed in the Legion lock box. Three impartial league members will tally the votes on April 20 and the winner announced that day.

Every team will be given enough ballots for however many of your players are present on Monday night. Each member gets one vote only. There will be NO proxy vote for members not in attendance. After voting each ballot goes back into the envelope which is sealed and then placed in the lock box at the Legion. On the final day, April 20, the votes will be removed and counted by 3 impartial NDL members and the winner announced that day.
Next Monday will be the last day of playoffs for Divisions A and C. Division B will finish April 15. The final day will be Saturday April 20. Top 4 teams in each division will advance to the final day. More details to follow.

Self nominations are now being accepted for next year’s Executive. All members are eligible to run for positions.
