It’s almost time to celebrate another great year of darts! This coming Sat. May 3 at the Newcastle Town Hall. Doors open at 5:30 pm, dinner 6:30 pm. Awards, prizes and dance to follow. Cash bar. Please print your name on the back of your ticket ( both member and guest) for the prize tables. See you all Saturday!
Wishing a Happy Easter to all our members and their families from all the executive. The Annual Banquet is just two weeks away on May 3. Doors open at 5:30 pm and Dinner is at 6:30 pm. Please remember to write your name on the back of your tickets. See you all there!
Another great year of darts is under wraps. Congratulations to all the winners of yesterday’s finals. It was a fun day and there were some excellent matches.
I’d like to thank my executive for all their hard work throughout the year: Darlene DeVouge Anita Maclean-Mccoy and Randy Brocklehurst. And a big thank you to Julie Wootton for doing an excellent job running our 50/25/25.

Another great Monday night season has come to an end as weekly Playoffs are now complete. Final Day will be this Saturday April 5 at the Bowmanville Legion. All players must be there by 10:45 am. Play will begin at 11 am. Bar will be open at 10:30. There will be no food for purchase so please bring your own snacks.
A reminder that all Banquet money and unused tickets are DUE on Saturday. There are still guest tickets available for those that need them.

****In the event that a team has to withdraw from the final day then the team that finished 5th in the Division will take the 4th place spot.****

Tomorrow is the last night of the regular season. The top 4 teams in each division will advance to the final day next SAT. APRIL 5th. All players must be at the Bowmanville Legion by 10:45 am and play will start at 11 am. More details to follow.

Self nominations are now being accepted for next year’s Executive. All members are eligible to run for positions. If anyone would like to run you can PM me, e-mail me at jill.rankine@gmail.com or you can text Randy. If there is interest then an election will be held. Please do not nominate anyone on this post. This is self nominations only. All nominations must be received by March 24. If there is no interest the current executive will be acclaimed and no election will be held. Thanks everyone.

***ATTENTION**** It has come to my attention that outside alcohol was brought into the Legion on Monday night. Under NO circumstances is any member of this league allowed to bring alcohol into the Legion or any other sponsor bar. As the Legion does not sell food, snacks are permitted but NEVER alcohol. If this happens again the offending member will no longer be allowed in the League. Captains please make sure your team members are aware of this.
