Reminder to all players regarding scorekeeping. Rule 10 states:
” Markers should be looking at the board and not talking to team members. This is common courtesy to the players throwing. Markers can tell you what you have scored; and/or what you have left; may not inform you of number combination of doubling out.”
Please be mindful of this rule when you are marking. Thank you.

Week 8 stats are in. just a reminder everyone only 12 weeks left before playoffs. So remember you need 7 weeks in to qualify for playoffs. There are a few players that have only 3 weeks played, and some only zero to one week played so far. You know who they are please get there games in. Thanks

Reminders:
1. All team fees are due TODAY. No team or personal points will be given until all money owing is paid.
2. Today is the last day to add any new players to your team and their fees must be paid today. Also, no players can switch teams after today and no refunds will be issued to anyone quitting.
There is still a list of people looking for teams so if anyone is interested please PM me.
Week 5 stats are in. tks
Hello everyone, regular play resumes tonight. A few reminders:
1. All fees will be due next Monday Oct 23. Please remember to deduct your deposit. Any teams not paying by this date will receive no team or personal points until all owing monies are paid.
2. The last day to add members to your team is also next Monday Oct. 23. Players are no longer required to play a minimum of one game before this cut off. However, all players must have paid by this date and all players must play a third of the regular season in order to be eligible for playoffs.
3. As per rule #7, all scoring will be done by both teams 50/50.
4. Any players bad mouthing, intimidating or using derogatory language towards another player will be suspended. This is a FUN league and this behaviour will not be tolerated.
5. Members are permitted to bring their own snacks to the Legion. Please be courteous and clean off your tables before you leave. There have been a number of teams leaving empties, glasses, tix and garbage behind.
6. Important dates:
Mon. Oct 23: All money due and last day to add players
Sat. Dec 9: Christmas Tournament
Sat. Feb 24: Second Tournament
Mon. Feb 26: Playoffs Start
Sat. April 20: Final Day
Sat. May 11: Banquet And Awards Night

Week 4 stats are in.
Hello all. Hope everyone had a great summer and are ready to play some darts. Please see the following updates:
Start date is tmrw, Monday Sept. 11 at 7:30pm.
There will be a total of 19 teams with 3 Divisions A, B, C.
The schedule is posted.
There will be no darts on the following dates : Oct 9, Dec 25, Jan 1, and April 1. Feb 19 there will be no darts for Divisions A and C only. Division B will be playing.
17 Teams will play out of the Bowmanville Legion and 2 will play out of Frosty John’s.
The fee to play will be $75 and includes two free tournaments and the banquet.
Scorebooks will be given out the first night.
If you have any questions regarding the upcoming season please direct them to your captain first as all captains attended the first meeting and are aware of the information.
Any teams still looking for players please contact me ASAP as I still have a few players looking to join the league.

I will post every time the next week of the schedule there so it can be easier to read. For whom is Home on the schedule example Visitor vs Home. Hello all, I hope everyone had a safe and happy long weekend.
Our annual meeting was held last Monday and there are a few changes for the coming season. Everything was voted on and passed by the captains so if anyone needs clarification and or has an issue with the changes please refer back to your captain and NOT in this post.
Randy will be posting the schedule today.
If you haven’t already done so, I need all captains to forward their team list of names to Randy so he can update them for the stats.
There will be 3 divisions this year A, B, and C and all teams will have byes.
The cost will be $75 and that includes two free tournaments and the banquet.
We will be starting Monday, Sept 11 at 7:30 pm. I will post a list of other pertinent dates as soon as they are confirmed.
I have a list of people who are looking for teams. If anyone needs players please contact me asap.

The Annual Banquet is this coming Sat. May 13 at the Newcastle Town Hall. Cocktails are at 5:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm. CASH Bar. Please print your name on the back of your ticket for the prize table. Looking forward to seeing everyone for a fun night!

Weekly Playoffs are now complete. Final Day will be this Saturday April 22. All players must be there by 10:45am. Play will begin at 11am. Ladies Auxillary will provide food. Bar will be open.
